The fully automatic kinematic viscosity tester is designed and manufactured according to the requirements specified in ASTM D7279-2018 Standard Test Method for Kinematic Viscosity of Transparent and Opaque Liquids by Automated Houillon Viscometer and NB SH/T 0956-2017 Standard Test Method for Kinematic Viscosity of Transparent and Opaque Liquids by Automated folding tube type Viscometer. The instrument measures the kinematic viscosity of transparent and opaque liquids including crude oil, light and heavy fuel oil, lubricating oil, additives and waste oil. It is used in electric power, petroleum, chemical industry, commodity inspection, scientific research and other departments.

Principle

The instrument heats the constant temperature bath to the set temperature and maintains it constant according to the parameter settings. The sample is injected into the folded tube viscometer, and the falling time of the sample is automatically detected. After the test is completed, the instrument automatically calculates, stores and prints the test results.
