The rotating pressure vessel oxidation tester (RPVOT) which also called the rotating bomb oxidation test (RBOT) is used to determine the oxidation stability of turbine oil, lubricating oil and other petroleum oils.

This automatic lubricating oil oxidation stability instrument is designed and manufactured according to ASTM D 2272 and petrochemical industry standard SH / t0193 “determination of lubricating oil oxidation stability by rotating oxygen bomb method”. This instrument is used to evaluate the oxidation stability of new and used turbine oils with the same composition (base oil and additives) at 150 ℃. The oxidation stability of new mineral insulating oil containing 2,6-di-tert-butyl-p-cresol and (or) 2,6-di-tert-butyl-phenol antioxidant can also be rapidly evaluated at 140 ℃.
