The ash content tester is suitable for determining the ash content of petroleum products, and adopts the national standard “GB/T508 petroleum product ash determination method”, ASTM D482. The ashless filter paper was used as the ignition core, and the sample placed in a suitable container was ignited to burn to the remaining carbon. The carbonaceous residue was further converted into ash by heating in a 775 ° C high temperature furnace, then cooled and weighed.
The petroleum ash content test equipment is mainly composed of a high temperature furnace, a temperature controller, a porcelain crucible, a quantitative filter paper (user-selected), and a large iron clamp. The temperature controller can measure, display and control the temperature in the electric furnace, and automatically maintain the temperature in the furnace. The controller uses a pointer display and is equipped with an ammeter, which is convenient and intuitive to use. The resistance furnace is a heating resistor, and the maximum temperature in the furnace is room temperature ~ 1000 °C.
